Explains natural gas components and discusses the economics of liquid separation. Defines gas chilling, cryogenics and the cryogenic process. Also covers individual components in an expander-compressor plant and how each component contributes to the condensation and gas liquid separation processes. Traces gas and liquid flow through the cryogenic process, showing the range of temperatures during the chilling and warming processes.
